Managing Editor/WFPLMichael Edgerly is a Kentucky native, born in Owensboro and educated at Murray State University, with more than 40 years experience in public and commercial radio and television newsrooms. Before his nearly three decade-long career at Minnesota Public Radio, he worked at WHAS Radio and WDRB TV in Louisville. He is the recipient of two Peabody Awards and a Dupont-Columbia Award. In 2016 he was inducted into the Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame. In his spare time, Michael enjoys traveling, cycling, angling and outdoor sports. He is also an amateur photographer.
